An adventure every time
Getting a call for an initial consultation is usually the best part of my week. I love joining a call with someone and having no idea what we'll be discussing, or where the conversation is going to go.
When I was a kid, my friends and I liked to play detective. We created flyers for our detective agency, hoping the neighbours would line up with their mysteries and lost items. Then, and now, I loved the idea of putting out a shingle and welcoming people to come tell me their story, so I could take a crack at solving it.
This week I'm in Quebec to see a client who emailed me out of the blue, on a recommendation, with a "crazy question." The way all the best things start.
If you want a second opinion, if you want a recommendation, or if you just want to talk to someone about what is going on at your organization, an initial consultation call is always free. And it makes my day.
